WACSB 2009 Regional Meeting
The Western Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (WACSB) will hold its annual regional meeting in Portland, Oregon this fall.
Weather: Portland lies within the marine west coast climate zone. October temperatures generally range from highs in the mid-60s to lows in the mid-40s. Attendees should be prepared for rain, but we'll do our best to stave it off for you.
Hotel: The Governor Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Portland with an easy walk to Portland's sights, shopping, arts, and night life. The Governor is ideally located for public transportation, walking distance from shops, clubs and restaurants and a short distance from most downtown conference and event venues. From luxurious penthouse suites with city-view outdoor terraces to some of the best rooms in the city, it's got to be The Governor! The Governor Hotel is a fully renovated historic landmark hotel featuring 100 all non-smoking newly remodeled guest rooms and suites.
A block of rooms with the special rate of $179.00/night is being held for your room reservation. Contact them directly by calling 503.224.3400 and let them know you're reserving a room for the WACSB conference. The Governor Hotel must be contacted no later than September 14, 2009 to receive the group discount room rate. Sleeping rooms are based on availability and may sell out prior to the cut-off date.
