Thrasher and Morse Recognized as Statesmen of the Year
Two OSU College of Business alumni were recognized by the Oregon Business Association as Statesmen of the Year at its seventh annual Statesman Dinner on October 9 at the Oregon Convention Center. State Senator Frank Morse (COB MBA '70) of Albany and Ken Thrasher (COB BA '71), CEO of Portland-based company Compli, are being honored for their leadership and commitment to improving Oregon.
The OBA Statesman Dinner keynote address will be given by former U.S. Senator John Edwards, who is a leading presidential candidate making a strong effort to win over Oregon Democrats. This annual event regularly draws leading figures Democrat and Republican from both business and politics in Oregon. |
