While an investigation of the intermittent network issues is still underway, the network has been stabilized. Please contact the COB Computing Resource Center if you have any further questions (737.0947).

We are currently experiencing intermittent network issues that are affecting all COB systems. COB IT and OSU Network Engineering are actively working on the issue. You may experience periods of sluggish network performance or an inability to access network resources. If you continue to have issues with a workstation, please try restarting it before calling the Help Desk. For all other issues please contact the COB Computing Resource Center Help Desk at 737-0947. Updates on the situation will be provided as they become available.

Access to COB WebMail has been restored.
Frday December 15th, 2006 8:00AM:
COB Webmail is currently having issues. Access to e-mail via Outlook is working fine. COB IT and Central Networking are working on the issue.
Friday December 15th, 3:45 AM:
All services have been restored, power has been transfered to a generator backup system.
Thursday December 14th, 2006 5:45 PM:
Due to a city wide power outage, COB servers are not functional. COB IT is working to move all COB services to backup generators to restore service as quickly as possible.
Friday December 8, 2006:
11:36 pm: Power issues in Kerr Administration have been resolved.
5:15 pm: Power issues in Kerr Administration are affecting COB servers. COB IT is investigating with OSU faclities services.
Monday, December 4, 2006:
12:30 pm: COB-STORAGE File services have been restored.
12:10 pm: COB-STORAGE File services are currently unreliable and may be unavailable for short periods. COB IT is working to resolve the issue.

12:30 pm: COB-STORAGE File services have been restored.
11:43 am: COB-STORAGE File services are currently unreliable and may be unavailable for periods of about 5 minutes. COB IT is working to resolve the issue. |
