Austin Entrepreneurship Program 2006 Signature Event
COMMERCIALIZING TECHNOLOGY INNOVATIONS IN A GLOBAL CONTEXT
Friday, May 19th, 2006 Oregon State University LaSells Stewart Center
Sponsored by Microsoft, the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance, the OSU Business Roundtable and the College of Business
In order for Oregon to realize future success in today's competitive global environment it is imperative that we develop and link the right mix of disciplines and institutions in an environment that fosters innovation and commercialization of ideas. University, business and government roles are featured as a central theme of the program in an effort to illuminate new forms of organization that will lead to economic and personal success in 21st-century.
At the Commercializing Technology Innovations in a Global Context program you will hear from leaders in the effort to provide resources to facilitate Oregon technology start-ups, you will see promising technologies and commercialization initiatives and you will have the opportunity to engage in a discussion on setting state policy or actually "pitching" your new business idea.
In today's networked world coming together to make personal connections remains crucial. All sessions have been designed for interaction with the audience.
