OSU Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma Earns "Exemplary" Status
The OSU chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international collegiate honors society for business students, has been named an Exemplary Chapter for the 2008-2009 year. Chapter adviser Madeleine Romero said the group has earned the designation for several years running.
“I am excited to have initiated and honored our very deserving OSU College of Business scholars. The chance to be acknowledged and receive unique opportunities post-graduation means so much to our students,” said Romero, also a finance and accounting instructor. “These students will be the outstanding leaders of tomorrow, following in the footpath of the BGS scholars who have come before them.”
Beta Gamma Sigma serves business programs accredited by AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Members are part of a prestigious group of academic and business leaders dedicated to excellence, integrity, and lifelong learning. During the 2008-2009 school year, the College of Business initiated 24 undergraduate and 7 MBA students—all who joined a global network of scholastic achievers.
