MBA Students Receive Certified Associate in Project Management Credential

By Abby P. Metzger

Nine out of 11 MBA students passed the Certified Associate in Project Management exam, administered by the Project Management Institute. Christian Barthruff, Erik Rehn, Frank Shala, Ginger Butler, Joshua Horton, Marianne Gardner, Matthew Muller, Peter Sealy, and Pinyarat Sirisomboonsuk all received the CAPM credential.

The CAPM is considered an essential step for project team members who provide expertise in marketing, finance, customer care, and other areas, and for those who serve as project team sponsors, facilitators, liaisons or coordinators. Additionally, the credential gives project members the ability to enhance their contributions to their team's success and recognizes individuals with an understanding of project management processes and terminology.
