Accounting Graduate Wins Silver Medal on CPA Exam
Robert J. Wolfer, a 2007 graduate of the OSU College of Business with a degree in accountancy, garnered the second highest score on the 2008 CPA examination in the State of Oregon. Wolfer was among nearly 700 test takers.
Accounting Professor Roger Graham said that Wolfer's placement in the 99.5 percentile speaks not only to his academic excellence but also to the quality of the accounting program at Oregon State University.
Wolfer is currently a staff accountant at DiLorenzo & Company, PC in Beaverton, Ore.
Wolfer's ranking marks the third year in a row that an OSU accounting graduate has placed in the top three finishers on the state CPA examination. In 2007, College of Business accounting graduate Steve Sharpe placed third on the CPA exam. Sara Van Nata, an accounting certificate student, placed third in 2006. |
