Bathrooms:
You may or may not have heard of the infamous "hole in the ground" toilets of the eastern world. That's ok, because you won't have to worry too much. Remember Hong Kong was a British colony, so the western toilets we're used to in the US are available. All the bathrooms on campus are of the western variety. Bathrooms in most modern shopping centers will be western as well. However, out in the city, especially in restaurants, it can be hit and miss. When traveling to more rural parts of the island, western toilets may become harder to come by as well. |
