THE ARTHUR STONEHILL INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS EXCHANGE PROGRAM
The College of Business is home to the largest business international exchange program in the state and provides you powerful opportunities to learn about international business first-hand. The College of Business sent our first group of students abroad to Aarhus, Denmark in 1987. Over the last 25 years our program has grown to include nine partner schools around the globe. Our strong relationships with faculty at all of our partner institutions are based on mutual trust and our shared commitment to foster an environment that fits the academic and personal needs of our respective visiting business students.
Qualified business students can study in countries including Austria, Australia, China, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Thailand, Czech Republic, Germany and more. Business majors are able to take upper division business courses, and in some cases, earn an option in International Business while studying aboad.
For every student we send abroad, our partner schools are sending their students to us. This exchange of students adds to the culture of the College of Business and encourages the formation of future friendships and contacts.
The experience of studying in a foreign country is one you will never forget. You cultivate a global awareness. You make many life-long friends. You create business and professional contacts. You gain a special confidence in yourself that employers recognize and appreciate.
The success of this program is largely due to the vision hard work and enthusiasm of Professor Emeritus Arthur Stonehill. Through his personal contacts, his generous donations of time and money, his skills in raising funds and his influence with former students, academic colleagues and businessmen, Professor Stonehill has established a lasting legacy with the College of Business International Exchange Program.
