Marketing Intern

Compensation: $8-10/hr for 15-20 hours/week (30-40 hours/week summer)
Main Responsibilities:

Support marketing staff with daily tasks (answering phones, data entry, etc)

Assist with tradeshow preparations (packing, shipping & travel arrangements)

Support Events Coordinator with onsite events and trainings
-
Prepare and send promotional web/email blast
-
Contribute to product release activities
-
Aid Marketing Reps with customer service
-
Compile promotional materials
-
Entry of contacts in database and maintenance of Salesforce.com interface
-
Other related duties as assigned
Training:
• Interaction with the ViewPlus Marketing Team on a day-to-day basis
• Involvement in weekly ViewPlus Marketing Team planning sessions
• Participation in weekly meetings with supervisor
Requirements:

Comfortable with learning new technology

Ability to be comfortable and professional speaking by phone and email to customers

Must have self-starting attitude and be willing to take initiative

Flexibility in performing daily tasks

Must be detail oriented and organized

Successful candidate must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Travel cases and other equipment can be heavy and must be handled regularly.

Proficient in Microsoft Applications

Sophomore or Junior with emphasis in business or marketing
