Campus Organizer for Planned ParenthoodDuties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a responsible, dedicated, resolutely pro-choice student to fill the Campus Organizing Internship. Campus Organizers educate their fellow students about the importance of reproductive justice issues and develop sustainable student groups on campus.
This internship begins January 2009 and lasts until the end of the 2009 academic year. The internship is based on your college campus. The Campus Organizing Intern will receive a $250 expense allowance each term to cover such expenses as transportation, copying, food, etc. The Campus Organizing Intern is asked to dedicate an average of 5-8 hours a week to the position and to document activities. Internships with Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon are an excellent way to build your resume while gaining valuable experience with a non-profit advocacy organization. Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon will work with your school to ensure academic credit where applicable.
