Internship and Work-Study Opportunities

Are you looking for an adventure? Tripwire now offers internship and work study opportunities throughout the year. If you are studying Computer Science or a related technical major, we may offer internship opportunities in Engineering, and Product Management. If you are studying Psychology or Art History, don't let that arts degree keep you from applying to Tripwire. We may also have internship work in many non-technical fields - including Finance, Marketing, and Sales. Please see our list of 'open internships' below for more detail. Additionally, if you are in high school and are seeking a work-study opportunity, we may have the Work-Study experience for you!

What internship experience can interns expect at Tripwire?
Tripwire interns share many of the same job responsibilities as full-time team members. You will be given real work with real problems to solve. As an intern, you will collaborate with QA engineers, Developers, Marketing, Sales and other professionals in the organization. In close collaboration with your university coordinator and Tripwire supervisor, you will define an internship project that reflects yours and Tripwire's interests and goals. Tripwire internships and work study opportunities are unpaid and comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act.

When do internships take place? How long do internships last?
Internships at Tripwire generally last for 12 weeks - long enough to develop a project and make a significant contribution. Additionally, we may have internship opportunities available throughout the year, and we will work with you and your university internship coordinator to define best start and end dates.

What qualifications is Tripwire looking for in intern or work-study candidates?
Intern candidates must be students enrolled in a relevant field of study, such as computer science, engineering, or social sciences with a focus on the software industry. Work-study candidates must be affiliated with an accredited school or academy and be pursuing a work-study experience as part of their curriculum.
