General duties include:
Assisting the Human Resource/Office manager with processing timesheets and various clerical duties. Further duties may include, but are not limited to working with project coordinators and managers to provide project related administrative support. Potential to work with President of the company on issues related to green building code development as well as assisting with planning and implementation of various programs and events for the NW Ecobuilding Guild and the Build Local Alliance. Qualifications: A qualified intern for this position must be interested and passionate about green building and want to gain administrative skills. Interested candidates should have excellent communication skills, be a self starter, self-organized and able to work independently with some supervision. Candidate should be reliable and able to report to work on-time. Basic computer skills are a must, especially familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
Time Frame: Mid-Summer 2009 (a minimum commitment of 4 months is required, there is potential for the internship to continue beyond 4 months) 15-20 hours per week minimum. Hours may be flexible but requires at least 4 hours on Monday and Tuesday every week.
Salary/Stipend: There is a $500.00 stipend for the internship
