Galvanic Design Student Snow Ambassador (SSA)

Galvanic Design Student Snow Ambassador (SSA)

Galvanic Design is a full-service event production company, currently focusing on the Campus Rail Jam Tour or you may know it as Snow in the Quad. Galvanic Design is looking to hire Student Snow Ambassadors (SSA) to assist with local grassroots marketing initiatives at our target universities. Acting as a liaison between the Campus Rail Jam Tour and the university population, each SSA will fulfill roles that range from advertising and PR to event coordination and marketing.

Position Details:

A Student Snow Ambassador or SSA has many faces. We are looking for a candidate who is tremendously creative and willing to execute his/her own marketing ideas. We need someone who can turn a brick into a building. This individual must be organized and ready to become a depiction of our organization.

Duties will heavily revolve around event promotions and brand representation. The SSA will create and execute campaigns to spread the word about the Campus Rail Jam Tour, as well as its industry partners (FUEL TV, Snowboarder magazine, Freeskier magazine, etc.) This may entail attending events to pass out promotional materials, working with student groups, marketing at key locations (skate parks, ski resorts), etc.

The SSA will be expected to provide visual/numerical representation of his/her marketing efforts and successes. This can be achieved through photos, videos, or presentations.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled as a full-time student with at least sophomore standing.
  • At least a basic knowledge of the action sports (snowboard, ski, skateboard) industry and culture.
  • Candidates MUST be extroverted and outgoing. This position will require extensive interpersonal interaction with both university administration and students.
  •  Ability to maintain regular correspondence with Campus Rail Jam Tour administration.
  •  Laid-back personality and a willingness to gain hands-on marketing experience.

Compensation:

The SSA is not paid, but that doesnt mean there are no perks. The SSA will receive free product from the tour and its partners/sponsors. Other perks include access to industry events, opportunity to network and make connections within the snowboard and ski industry, a chance to receive great job experience, being involved in an industry that you already are a part of and the opportunity to build your resume.

How to apply:

Go to our website www.campusrailjamtour.com <http://www.campusrailjamtour.com/   and click Apply Now in the SSA section.
