Summer Management Intern - Deadline: ASAP

About Rubicon:

Rubicon International is an educational technology services firm known for its leadership in the field of curriculum management. Using Atlas, the curriculum management program developed by Rubicon, the firm partners with public and private schools throughout the world to plan and implement web-based curriculum mapping. Rubicon is committed to being a world-wide leader in making a difference in teaching and learning. The Atlas Education Centre, located at Rubicon’s offices at the World Trade Center in downtown Portland, is the first educational and training facility devoted entirely to curriculum development and the sharing of best practices.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Projects and responsibilities are assigned based on the intern’s skills and interests. The intern will have a variety of opportunities to support the Atlas Curriculum Management system and the Atlas Education Centre. On any given day, sample tasks that the intern will do include:

 

*Customizing Atlas Systems with client curriculum

*Assisting a client training session in the Education Centre

 

Interns work in a team environment with other interns as well as senior associates.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

*Interest in the field of Education

*A self-starter who can work independently and team up “on the fly” as needed to complete projects and serve client needs

*Excellent oral and written communication skills

*Comfortable working in a highly professional business environment

*Excellent multi-tasking ability

*Outstanding client/customer support

*Proficient in MS Office Suite

 

 

Employment Begins: June 2010

Employment Ends: August 2010

Job Location: World Trade Center, Portland, Oregon

Hours Per Week: Full-Time

Wage Range: TBD – based on skills/experience
