Mexico: American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Mexico)

Gain experience in international business and trade while learning about U.S.-Mexican trade relations. Intern for the American Chamber of Commerce in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico. Assist in organizing and supporting members working in trade, tourism, industrial development, education, and labor relations; organizing seminars; publishing information on trade, exporting markets, and logistics.  Language Requirement: Completion of 3rd year university Spanish (or equivalent) required.  Read the full position description.

Chile: American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Chile)

Promote U.S. business interests in Chile and learn about international trade. The Chilean American Chamber of Commerce is an independent, non-profit organization representing, promoting and developing U.S. business in Chile and fostering trade between both countries. Interns will work within the Research Department in a variety of tasks including: researching specific questions that members and other companies have about import/export procedures, regulations and commercial contacts; and carrying out larger research projects related to the U.S.- Chile Free Trade Agreement. Advance micro-finance in Lesotho. South Africa: Cape Town Wineries

 

Work in the administration and marketing office of a South African wine label. Learn wine production from start to finish at a beautiful South African winery. South Africa has an abundance of wineries in and around Cape Town in the Western Cape Province.  Cape wineries benefit from the region's Mediterranean climate and rapid growth of the industry since the fall of apartheid.  Wineries range in size and market orientation (domestic or international).  They are also a major tourist attraction in the region and many have tasting rooms and restaurants.  Interns will be placed at a particular winery, based on the wineries' needs and ability to host an intern.  Depending on their interests, interns may be involved either in the business management and marketing efforts of the winery or with viticulture and wine production.  Read the full position description.
