Pursue an internship and gain valuable business work experience! Read about internship experience of fellow students. Internships are available for credit or non-credit (see Internship Requirements). If you take an internship for credit, all you need to do is set up a learning agreement with a faculty member and the internship advisor. If there is a specific area where you'd like to intern, the COB internship advisor will work with you to find a match.
In addition to the below opportunities, check out the MECOP program. This is a collaborative engineering-based internship program where many COB MIS students gain valuable work experience. You can apply your junior year and, if accepted, complete two different six-month internships over a two year period and get paid. COB interns have worked for companies including LSI Logic, Oregon Freeze Dry, Radisys and Freightliner.
