ENTRY-LEVEL HR GENERALIST – TOLEDO, OR
The key responsibilities of the HR Generalist are to provide HR support to employees and managers as needed at the Toledo Mill as well as other mills in the Northwest region. This support includes maintaining compliance with company policies and state & federal laws in all areas of the business; to recruit, test, interview and complete the hiring process for hourly employees to include background checks and drug testing; maintain AAP and EEO standards and records; provide backup support for benefits, training and payroll; monitor pay and position changes for accuracy; assists in labor relations including contract administration and grievance processing.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree; Minimum of 2 years of related experience; Computer proficiency
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills; must demonstrate initiative, flexibility and sense of urgency; proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office programs; must be a team player and be available for limited travel in the area.
