Video Editing and Media Specialist - Apply ASAPDescription: Duties may include providing video support during focus groups and other field assignments, the creation of short video programs, and general office support. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the office's video/audio equipment and software. The successful candidate will have experience filming, editing, and producing videos. Technologically savvy individuals are a plus, but a willingness to learn is important as well. Creative problem solving and an ability to 'self-teach' will be important in this position. Additionally, good communications skills and an ability to work collaboratively as well as independently are critical.
The position is for 5-10 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible and may fluctuate depending on project work load.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Final Cut Pro (or experience with similar video editing software)
· Previous experience with video editing and creation
· Experience in dubbing (converting) video from various formats (mini DV tape, DVD,VHS, etc.) to DVD and Quicktime files
· Excellent organization and time management skills
· A willingness to take on creative tasks and opportunities
Compensation: $9.50/hour
