The Georgia-Pacific mill in Halsey, Oregon (located between Eugene and Corvallis) manufactures towel and tissue products and is now accepting resumes for a Human Resources Generalist.
Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for providing day-to-day human resources support to the facility and will report to the HR Manager. Primary areas of responsibility will include; labor/employee relations, talent acquisition, application of internal selection processes, HR policy training and development, leave management, assurance of employment law compliance, and other HR related functions. This person will also serve a key role providing advice/counsel to line management relative to collect bargaining agreement interpretation/application and employee performance management.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field required. Minimum of two years HR experience in manufacturing, preferably in a union organized environment.
