MIS Analyst

 

The Opportunity

 

A progressive data and replenishment solutions company located in Silverton, Oregon is seeking an MIS analyst to help design and implement replenishment solutions for daily POS data from leading U.S and Canadian retail chains.

 

 

Job Title: MIS Analyst

 

General Overview:

  • Participate in high impact technology projects to provide subject matter and expertise with respect to data architecture, systems integration, application design
  • Provide systems analysis, testing, and support
  • Review requirements and identify problem resolutions
  • Ensure data is clean and credible to support strategic decision-making
  • Identify data integrity issues in systems, work with developers and managers to recommend and implement solutions
  • Automate key managerial reports for distribution to all required recipients
  • Work with business partners to design and develop technical solutions to key business problems

 Education and Experience:

·        Bachelor’s degree in MIS or equivalent required

·        1-3 years experience

 

Specific Skills:

 

  • Experience or course work in database design and development using popular tools (MS SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience in T-SQL query writing a plus
  • Web design and development a plus
  • Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot tables, import/export, formulas, formatting)
  • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational and time management
