Full-Time Accounting Position with Intel – Deadline: Apply ASAP

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will apply his/her accounting expertise, analytical and problem solving skills, and business understanding involving a wide variety of responsibilities, such as:

¨       GAAP accounting

¨       Financial statement reporting and analysis

¨       Account analysis/reconciliations

¨       Management reporting

¨       Information analysis

¨       Risk and Controls/Process improvements

 

Applicants must to be able to apply technical accounting theory to global business events within Intel’s dynamic environment. Candidates must also be willing to take ownership for problem resolution and decision making with continuously increasing levels of responsibility. In addition, applicants must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as working with all levels of management.  Initial placement would be within the Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets Accounting, General Accounting & Corporate Consolidations, Intercompany Accounting or Treasury Accounting groups. Given Intel’s global business, some travel may be required. 

 

Intel offers Accounting employees ongoing development opportunities via job rotation, continuing education and CPA certification programs.  Long-term career opportunities include supervisory, management and senior management opportunities throughout Intel.

 

Qualifications:

¨       Overall/Accounting GPA of 3.2 or higher

¨       Position requires BA/BS with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Economics with expected degree completion by or before summer 2010.
