The Program and Communications Director is a full-time position which will direct FCCP’s program work and provide oversight and direction for the organization’s internal and external communications. A primary responsibility will include staffing the State Infrastructure Funders’ Table (SIFT) which aims to support the development of sustainable civic infrastructure at the state level by promoting focused experimentation and learning in the field and communicating with and conducting outreach to funders. Other FCCP programming includes two major donor convenings per year, monthly First Monday briefing calls and other special initiatives. In addition, this position will oversee FCCP’s website, member communications and materials development.
Knowledge of and experience with philanthropy, organizational development, state‐based coalitions/collaborations, issue campaigns, non‐partisan voter engagement efforts and broader democracy issues are important to the position. This position will report directly to the Executive Director.
Salary / Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience
Qualifications: - Minimum five years experience in project management, a statewide organization/coalition or a philanthropic organization. - Three years experience in a position with primary communications oversight. - Experience working on civic engagement/voter engagement activities preferred.
