The Entrepreneurship Society is for all students interested in starting, developing and growing their own businesses or any student interested in simply learning more about entrepreneurship. Through involvement with the club, you will experience fantastic networking and social opportunities as well as gain the informal skills and knowledge needed to be a successful entrepreneur in any environment. To join the club, please contact Stephen Ramil at ramils@onid.orst.edu.
SIFE, Students in Free Enterprise, is a national organization focused on mobilizing university students to create economic opportunity for others while discovering their own potential. The OSU SIFE chapter is an opportunity for students to apply their classroom experiences to outside business with the help of faculty and advisors. Skills learned in market economics, entrepreneurship, personal finances and business ethics are applied to real life business situations. The club participates in community outreach programs and helps students start new businesses. For more information, please read the newsletter or contact SIFE leaders.
The president of SIFE is Sean Cole. SIFE meets Tuesdays at 7 pm in Weatherford Hall Room EG12. For more information, email admin@oregonstatesife.com or visit their website. |
