Alpha Kappa Psi - the Professional Co-Ed Business Fraternity

Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders.  The organization was created in 1904 and is the world's largest professional fraternity.  With nearly 200 active student chapters and about 10,000 current student members, Alpha Kappa Psi provides professional development and experiences that you cannot learn inside the classroom.  More that 235,000 men and women have been initiated into the fraternity since it was founded.

Oregon State University's chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, the Theta Chapter, was the 8th chapter created in the fraternity.  The chapter seeks to recruit the leaders of tomorrow's business world - men and women of integrity and character who embody the ideals and beliefs of Alpha Kappa Psi.  Alpha Kappa Psi is a dynamic environment in which members can actively participate in the operations of a business through active involvement and various leadership positions. Where better to develop your skills in a forgiving environment that allows you to make mistakes, learn, and grow as a business leader?

As a member of the Theta Chapter, you will be involved with professional, service, fundraising, and social projects that develop your skills and abilities.  Every member serves on a committee so that they can be actively involved with the activities and operations of the chapter.  Beyond these committees, several student members serve on the Executive Board and provide leadership and direction for the organization.  It's the perfect way to practice the skills you need to be successful in the professional world!
